In the production and operation of the website, JIS X 8341-3:2016 (Guidelines for Designing for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities - Equipment, Software and Services in Information and Communications - Part 3: Web Content) of the Japanese Industrial Standards is used as the quality standard, and based on this, UniWeb was introduced to support text size, contrast, cursor size changes and a voice reading function.

 

◾️What is Web Accessibility?

It means that "people with physical or mental functional limitations, such as the elderly or people with disabilities, can access and use information provided on the Web regardless of their age or physical condition." This is not a special accommodation only for people with disabilities or the elderly; anyone can be in the same situation as a person with disabilities.

• Temporary injury or illness (e.g., car accident with arm in cast and unable to use arm, eye disease with eye patch and blindness, etc.)

• Age-related vision loss (presbyopia, lens changes (yellowish, dark, blurred vision, etc.))
