Kiva Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Kohta Nojiri, hereinafter referred to as Kiva) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Privacy Mark certification from the Japan Information Economy Society Promotion Association (JIPDEC).

 

◾️ Background on Acquiring the Privacy Mark

We have established a strict operational and management system for protecting our customers' personal and financial information related to information security and privacy. In order to manage it more securely than ever, we have acquired the Privacy Mark.

◾️ Guarantee Service 'proteger' for Safe Purchases

Proteger is a service that provides extended warranty for e-commerce sites within one week.

The average enrollment rate for Proteger is about 1 in 3, and it is chosen by many consumers from a sustainable perspective as they prefer to repair rather than discard broken items.
Moreover, the CVR (Conversion Rate) for eligible products has improved by 1.4 times after the introduction of the extended warranty, suggesting that allowing the selection of extended warranties lowers the barriers to new purchases.
Since the start of the service, the number of warranty products offered has reached 70,000, and the number of repair partners has expanded to 400 locations across the country. We will continue to grow in order to become an indispensable presence for e-commerce businesses and consumers.

UniWeb provides web accessibility features "on the day of deployment" by simply adding a single line of code to all web services.
