Kiva Corporation (Headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Yuta Isozaki, President; hereinafter "Kiva") is pleased to announce that it will exhibit at Japan IT Week Spring 2025 to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 23 (Wed) to April 25 (Fri), 2025.

We will also be holding occasional mini-seminars and giveaways for those in charge of e-commerce sites, marketing, and business planning.

 

◾️What is Japan IT Week?

Japan IT Week is Japan's largest exhibition on system development, maintenance and operation, consisting of five exhibitions: Software & Application Development Exhibition, IoT & Edge Computing EXPO, Information Security EXPO, Data Center EXPO, and IT Human Resources Shortage Countermeasures EXPO.

As the latest technologies in software and app development, IoT, embedded and edge computing are revolutionizing companies and industries, companies with such products and services will gather for three days of business matching. the event also creates opportunities to gather the latest information and trends through free conferences on "system development" and "cyber security" and seminars by exhibitors, contributing to the development of the IT industry in Japan and solving social issues.

◾️About UniWeb

UniWeb provides web accessibility features "on the day of deployment" by simply adding a single line of code to all web services.

In order to achieve equal website services for all, we want to put users in various situations, such as those with visual impairments or those who temporarily lose the use of their hands due to injury, in a position to understand correct information through various uses such as voice reading and contrast changes.

 

◾️What is Web Accessibility?

It is not a special accommodation for the disabled or the elderly, but anyone can be in the same situation as a person with a disability.

• Temporary injury or illness (e.g., car accident with arm in cast and unable to use arm, eye disease with eye patch and blindness, etc.)
• Age-related changes
• Age-related vision loss (presbyopia, lens changes (yellowish, dark, blurred vision, etc.))
• Eye diseases common in middle-aged and older adults (cataracts, glaucoma, etc.)
  *About half of the patients in their late 70s have cataracts with yellowing changes.
• Age-related hearing loss
• Foreign travelers (if a foreigner who does not understand Japanese is struck by an earthquake while traveling, can he/she obtain evacuation information, etc.)
