You can now add subtitles to videos on the website with Uniweb.

Thank you for always using UniWeb.
As of July 17, 2024, you can set subtitles for videos on the website.

 

Overview of Functions

1. From the list of features in the management screen, select [Video Subtitles].

 

2. Enter the URL for the video you want to set subtitles for, and press [Save] to retrieve the video from the URL.
(Note: Only videos with the video tag are available for retrieval. Videos from external services are not eligible for the subtitle feature.)

 

3. Once the video retrieval is complete, a list of videos will be displayed as below.

 

4. Clicking [Upload] on the retrieved video card opens a modal for uploading subtitle files.
Select subtitle files and display labels, and press [Submit]. (Note: Only VTT format subtitle files can be uploaded.)

 

5. Select the subtitle file you want to reflect on the website video, and click [Save] to make the subtitles available in the video.

 

Subtitles set with this feature will be reflected on the website through the UniWeb widget, contributing to improved accessibility.
